There is a movie coming out this month about him, kamery and he would like his buddies to know a bit more about him before seeing the movie. Je l'ai fait hier et je constate qu'une heure plus tard, un censeur irréfléchi a supprimé la précision très importante: "ur[odzony] w Kole". Etant lui-même de Koło, il devrait ressentir quelque fierté à ajouter un nom qui fait honneur à sa "mała ojczyzna" . De toute façon il semble évident de devoir indiquer dans cette rubrique ("Osoby związane z miastem") le lien qui unit chacun des noms à cette ville, soit qu'il y est né, soit qu'il y ait vécu ou qu'il y soit mort... D'autre part, faut-il respecter la chronologie (J. Roston est né au XIXe s.) ou inscrire les noms les à la suite des autres ? A bon entendeur, salut !

The licensing update proposal to dual license all Wikimedia Foundation wikis under both the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) and the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License (CC-BY-SA) is moving into its final phase. Recently I have been in the Tatra mountains and I have seen the roseta simbol [2] in houses and churches of the Zakopane style. The turist guide told me that it's called sun rising flower (I don't know if it's the english term or the translation to english of the polish name). I'd want that someone of polish users wrote an article in the polish wikipedia about this solar simbol whit the polish point of view, to improve, to make better and complet my article in the aragonese wikipedia with polish information. This simbol is also very common in Asturias , but the asturian wikipedia has only a little activity, I think that polish wikipedia is biggest and more active, so it's easier for you. Thx, that matches the data I have and indeed he is my grandfather.Droguerya commercial I have indicates that also he was the only Wiktor Brillant Pharmacist in Jaroslaw. I added a link to his memorial page in the table there. You may see his photo, the front of the droguerya where two of his sons Yan second from the left and Karol Ludwig at the right are standing, His log book and photo of the house the family lived in Maja 3 street as well as the hostages list of Jaroslaw.

The LocalisationUpdate extension is now enabled for all Wikimedia projects. From now on new localisations that become available in SVN will become available to your project within 24 hours. Your localisations get into SVN from translatewiki.net typically within a day and at worst in two days. Bogumił Pacak-Gamalski and Strumień do not appear to met notability requirements. See Google results . I am not good at finding Polish language sources, but I have tried.

I have only found one English language abstracted article that mentions Bogumił Pacak-Gamalski, in „Calgary Herald”, which is about people who have emigrated from the East Bloc. It reports on four different people/families, telling their story of going back to see their homeland, but it contains very little biographical information.

Strumień is not indexed in any journal database that I can find, or held in many libraries around the world. This is one of the proposed criteria at en:Wikipedia:Notability (academic journals) , developed by en:Wikipedia:WikiProject Academic Journals . I appreciate that Polish Wikipedia may use different notability criteria, especially with humanities journals relating to Polish topics. Strumień is in Katalog bibliotek UW, and at least one other regional Polish library. A few more details about the editorial board was mentioned on en:Talk:Richard Tylman :

The editorial board consists of people of such stature as: A.J. Wroblewski (former President of Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and Professor Emeritus of University of Illinois , A. Gradowska ( former professor and organizer of Dep. of Fine Arts at the Central University in Caracas ( en:Central University of Venezuela ?), B. Pacak-Gamalski (poet and essaist).

Hello, if I am correct pl.WP has a system for people who want simply to report something to improve (Zglos Blad). Could anyone tell me about your experiences with it, for example whether there is a flood of reports, is it a useful tool, are the reports useful, how long is the queue of reports still not dealt with and so on? Hello! Sorry for my bad English. If somebody would abuse this system, for eg. by flooding, we can block his IP and he won't do anything bad anymore. It's one of greatest tools on pl.wikipedia. We have a lot of problems reports, more than 50% of them are correct. If we can verify it, we are changing informations in article ASAP. It can be few minutes, it can be day, but not longer than (AFAIR) 2 days, cause after it report is moved to talk page. There are serval persons who are active there, but i'd love to have them few times more, cause i think it's very imprtant page for quality improvement. To be honest almost nobody checks talk pages regularly, so reporting there something is kinda pointless. Problems reported to "zgłoś błąd" are corrected faster, so i think it's a good tool. Also some IPs and newbie users are afraid of editing Wikipedia, so giving them an easy GUI makes that they reports problems more often. There's no description of it in other languages, sorry. I wouldn't call it a flood of reports but there is a constant stream. It's extremely useful because people report problems they don't know (or are too afraid) to fix themselves. Some people point out small things like a missing coma or dot, other can point out major errors considering, let's say, history and tell us what books to vrify the information in. Of course there is slight problem with people reporting spelling errors in words that ain't in the article, people who don't provide enough information about the problem (say "Article is wrong" or something like that) and then there are of course people who report problems with things totally not related to Wikipedia like their cars, their videogames, their accounts on various websites...The current queue is, if I'm correct, 10 days long though most reports take no more than a few hours and only the more mayor ones take days. Well...I can't really give you a number on that I'd say about 20 a day, sometimes more, sometimes less. You can try taking a look at the statistics and the page history (every edition with "nowa sekcja" means a new section = new report). Обкатать статью вроде бы проще паренной репы, но вопрос другой - является ли ваш отец столь значимой персоной, к тому же имеющей посвящённую только ему монографию (что в принципе требуется на плвики как АИ - авторитетный источник), чтобы иметь статью о себе. Какой-то зацепкой могло бы быть то, что он профессор. Однако названный вуз , мягко говоря не только на высший, но и на первый сорт не тянет, да к тому же указанной кафедры художественного творчества и искусств я на сайте вуза не нашёл, так же как и вашего отца среди указанных там преподователей. Конечно статуя голой Юлия это вещь крутая, но мне лично кажется, что и это на значимость не тянет, а всё содержание статьи сугубо автореклама. Так что лично я от правки статьи воздержусь. Уважаемый Андрей Николаевич! Лично я восхищаюсь людьми, у которых есть умение ваять - у самого такого дара нет. Но то как и это, что и когда лично я пойму не имеют в Википедии никакого значения, и более того - руководствоватся своим мнением является грубым нарушением правил. Так же недопустимо принимать за источник личные, высказыванные вслух, мнения и оценки родственников, знакомых, друзьей субъекта статьи, а равно - неважно как обильные - газетные, телевизионные или инетрнетовые заметки и сообщения. Применение таких правил не даёт права обвинять в отсуствии уважения или давит на оппонентов словами, что кто-заслужил большего. Остаюсь со своим мнением, которое, как вы справедливо заметили, имеет право на существование, мнением, что вы используете Википедию как средство рекламы и продвижениея вашего отца, на пример в деле продажи статуи голой Юлии за 500.000 евро.
